Therapeutic Ride Algoma is always open to new participants who are interested in our program. We seek to build blissful memories and create unforgettable experiences.

To participate in the program, all rider candidates must have a Referral form completed. For riders with physical disabilities, a medical doctor must complete the medical Referral form. For riders without physical disabilities the Referral form may be completed by another professional such as a psychologist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist, etc.  

Riders will be added to our waiting list once the Rider Application package, including medical referral form has been received.

TRA Instructors are CanTRA-certified and require specialized and continued training to ensure their knowledge is up-to-date.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals who are interested in becoming an Instructor. TRA can provide payment for instructors, and if you are interesting in becoming certified, TRA may be able to provide funding for individuals looking to complete their CanTRA training.
